Carrot does this automatically for whatever main number you enter for the business, but a lot of times that’s a landline or a non-textable number and you don’t even realize you’re not getting these SMS notifications. Also, maybe you want your SMS notifications going to your Acquisitions Manager instead of the main business line, or to multiple people. Here’s how to set it up all up…

Jason Moss:

What’s up, everybody? Jason Moss here. Today, we have another Investor Carrot tip for you. And this is on how to set up your SMS or text notifications for all the leads that come in on your website… Something that’s very important to do, and you should 1000% be doing it. But a lot of people forget about it, so we’re going to teach you how to do that today. Before we do that, there are two things you need to do. The links are in the description below. First off, if you do not have an Investor Carrot website, please get one. You will be happy with one. Use our link, and once you’re done, send me the receipt. Once you do that, I’ll give you access to our bonuses.

Jason Moss:

Second of all, join our Facebook group. This is for Investor Carrot fans. If you have a website, if you’re on the fence about getting a website, you want to see what kind of conversations we have going on in here, this is a great place to be. We’re talking about SEO, design tips, how-tos, ways to get different leads, a whole bunch of different things. It’s a growing group and it’s a fun environment to connect with all those other Investor Carrot people… So hop into that group, but let’s hop into the content and get these SMS notifications set up properly.

Danielle Moss:

All right, Investor Carrot fans. We have a super easy tip on making sure that you are getting text notifications when leads fill out the form on your website. Now, there may be a couple of reasons that you want to go through these steps. Carrot does set you up immediately, once you have your site, to send notifications to whatever primary phone number you have on your website. They’re fabulous like that. However, that may be a call forwarding phone number or it may not be a number that goes to your acquisitions manager or someone that’s working your leads, or maybe you want the notifications to go to multiple people, yourself, and your acquisitions manager. We’re going to show you how to make those changes. So, first and foremost, we’re going to go to content, and then we’re going to click on forms. These notifications are triggered based on someone filling out the form on your website.

Danielle Moss:

Then we’re going to go into SMS notifications. Today, we’re going to be working specifically on our form, the “get an offer today,” so you’ll see us reference that back on this side. So Carrot, already, like I said, sets you up with that notification going to your main phone number that you set up your carrot website with, but we want ours to go to someone else. So we’re going to go ahead and hit edit, and we’re going to change a couple things in here. So again, it tells you which form that we’re working off of, and I want this notification to instead go to… okay. One other thing that you can do that’s pretty awesome is you can add additional fields that will be pulled into the text notification. So for me personally, when we get a lead,

Danielle Moss:

I like to have the date, that way I can go back and timestamp or have it for reference. You may want additional fields as well, and you can go through and pick those. This is now set up, ready to go. One thing that this does not do, not a big deal, there’s a super easy workaround, is you cannot add multiple phone numbers here. So say I want them to go to myself and my acquisitions manager. We actually have to set up two notifications again, super easy, not a big deal. I know this is how I want my form set up, so I’m going to go ahead and copy that. Let me update here. And then we’re going to go back and build a new notification. So we’ll go back to SMS notification, and instead of editing one, we’re actually going to build a new one. We’re going to select the “get an offer today” form that we’ve been working off of, and instead of having to rebuild cell by cell here, I’m just going to go ahead and paste what we built on the last one.

Danielle Moss:

That way it’s the same, and I will add my alternate phone number in here. So now we have the same notification as soon as someone fills out that “get an offer today” form, going to two separate phone numbers, that way both people are aware of the lead and can be working that lead or keeping tabs on what’s going on. Very, very easy. This is so critical, you guys, if you want to win when it comes to converting leads, your response time has to be one of your top priorities. And if you don’t have these notifications set up correctly and you’re not getting to your leads in a timely manner, you’re missing out. So please, go into your carrot site, check your notifications, make sure it’s set up to go to the correct phone number, the right members of your team. That way you can improve that response rate to those prospects. That’s all, guys. Bye.

Jason Moss:

What’s up, everybody? Jason Moss here. Today’s video, we have another Investor Carrot tip for you, and this is all about the phone number on your website, and how to display it the right way. Yes, there is a right way to do it, and a lot of investors do it incorrectly. Okay. So we’ll go over that with you. But before we get into that content, please, there’s two things you need to do. The first, and these links are in the description below, the first thing is, if you need an Investor Carrot website, use our link in the description. Okay. Once you sign up, send me the receipt, and I’ll get you access to our bonuses. All right.

Jason Moss:

And secondly, jump into our Investor Carrot Facebook group. Okay. This thing is growing very, very quickly. We have a lot of great conversations going on. We’re teaching a lot of different things, like SEO, design tips, how to do this and that, a whole bunch of cool conversations going on there. So, join using the link in the description, and let’s hop into the content now about this phone number.

Danielle Moss:

Hey, Investor Carrot fans. Today, we have a tip for you to land more leads. This has to do with the phone number placement on your site. You know Carrot always starts you off right. They have your phone number in the header, and kind of sprinkled throughout the copy, but we want to kick it up just a little notch, and make it more prevalent on your site, to increase the chances of a prospect clicking and following through to reach out to you.

Danielle Moss:

So we’re going to be talking about adding, either images or buttons, to, again, reinforce that desire or that action to reach out to you. Now, one thing we’ll say, depending on you and your business, we highly encourage you to make texting available to your prospects, so that they can text you as well. Sometimes, especially with something as big as selling their home, they might feel a little uncomfortable about being put on the spot on a phone call. They may feel more comfort easing in via text. So, up to you, but we highly encourage you to make that an option, and place that in your text, if you’re doing a button, so letting them know to either call or text you.

Danielle Moss:

So let’s talk about how we can do it either via an image or a button. Carrot makes both super easy. So first, let’s go ahead and talk about the button. Again, could not be easier, click the spot you want the button to go into, and we’re going to add a button, and you simply type your text, “Call or text us.” And over to the right, you can see all the fun things that you can do to modify your button, to make it stand out on your website. So you can change the width, if you want it full width, or if you want it just a standard button size. You can change the color, which is fun. You can make it really predominant and stand out of your text. Or you can change the entire color of the button. Pretty fun. You can also change how round it is, if you want more of a round button, a square button, depending on your look and aesthetic. One thing you can also do is center your button here, to make it more centered and focused on your sites.

Danielle Moss:

Now, to go ahead and link that to your phone number, you’re going to go ahead and click the link button, and you’re going to type, “TEL: + “, and then your phone number starting with 1-314, we’ll make one up, 5555. And there you go. Your button is now ready to go. When a prospect clicks that, they’ll be prompted to your phone number.

Danielle Moss:

The other thing that you can do is link an image. So let’s talk about that really quick here. Again, super easy. Add an image. We’re going to upload one that we already have in our media library, and you will see that this image is huge. We’re going to go ahead and shrink that down, just by sliding that bar on the right. Okay. Let’s scroll back up, and we want to have it centered. Perfect. And then again, guys, all we have to do is click the link button, add that same formula, “TEL: +13146995555”, enter. And our button is now linked, so that the prospect can reach out to us.

Danielle Moss:

Again, the whole point here, guys, is that, you’re making it more predominant on your website, to encourage the prospect to reach out to you. Sometimes they’re kind of scrolling through, and looking through different things, and they quit paying attention to your header, or they get to a point where your phone number and contact information isn’t prevalent, and then they get distracted. If you have this predominantly on your site, the chances of a lead following through, and actually clicking and taking action are much greater.

Danielle Moss:

If you have any questions, or you want to see a further tutorial on any of these details, please let us know. Best thing you can do right now, go take action. Get one or two of these installed on your site, so you can practice it while it’s fresh in your mind, and go through and just look at your site and think, “Okay, where would it make the most sense that a lead would want to potentially click and get more information?” Maybe it’s on your FAQs page or in your About or your Process. Have that information ready for them, so they can get in touch with you ASAP.

Danielle Moss:

Bonus tip, make sure you’re responding to them promptly, especially via text, you guys. We talked about this before. Instant gratification, they want to hear from you when they want to hear from you. So, if they do reach out and text, try and get back to them as quickly as possible.

Danielle Moss:

All right, guys. More up next.

You MUST edit this and make it unique. Why though? Because motivated sellers want to “connect” and “relate” to other humans. Also, they simply want to know who they will be doing business with and who might be buying their house.

Jason Moss:

What’s up, everybody? Jason Moss here.

Jason Moss:

Today, we have another Investor Carrot Tip for you. This is on how and why you should be changing your About Us or your Our Company page as Carrot listed there on the website. All right? They’ve done some split testing on that, and it is one of the top three pages on everybody’s website that is visited the most, okay?

Jason Moss:

So it’s a very, very important page. People go to that. They want to know who they are going to be working with, who’s going to be answering the phone, who might be showing up at their house, who they’re ultimately going to be selling their house to. All right? So it’s very, very important to brand yourself and change that stuff, and we’re going to go over all that with you here in detail.

Jason Moss:

But before we do that, remember, there’s two things to do. First off, if you do not have an Investor Carrot website, see the link in the description below, okay? Click on it. Sign up for your Investor Carrot website. Once you do that, send me the receipt. All right? And we’ll get you access to our bonuses.

Jason Moss:

Also, you’re going to want to jump into our Facebook group. This is for anybody that has an Investor Carrot website, or maybe you’re on the fence and looking to get an Investor Carrot website. Hop in the group. You can see kind of the conversation that’s going on, all the different things that we talk about. Our group is growing fast every single day. So once again, that link is in the description. All right?

Jason Moss:

But let’s hop into the video and go over that About Us/Our Company page and how to change everything.

Danielle Moss:

We’ve talked about your About page a little bit before when we were talking about removing the stock content throughout your website. We kind of said to prioritize your homepage and your About.

Danielle Moss:

Today, I’ve got three ways for you to really personalize specifically that About page to make it more memorable for your prospects. First of all, add photos. I know we keep saying it, but you guys, in the day and age of the internet, there’s so much stuff out there that if you’re not being personable, you’re forgettable. So add the pictures.

Danielle Moss:

Here, Noah does a great job, kind of a candid shot out to dinner and then a little personal bio here talking about himself. That is memorable. That is relatable. That is going to make people feel comfortable to reach out to you.

Danielle Moss:

And again, we’ve shown Corey before. Corey does a great job of having a very cohesive-looking and warm, friendly About page. He’s got the team photo up here and then breaks them down individually with a little bio. Again, it just makes it that much more comfortable. You know if you’re reaching out, these are the people that you’re going to be dealing with.

Danielle Moss:

The next thing that we recommend is talking about your local community. What is it about the area that you’re in that you love, that makes you a subject matter expert, that makes you credible to make an offer on that home in that local area? Even talking about things like the local sports community, maybe a local school, a charity or organization that you’re involved with, anything that makes it feel like you are there with that person kind of in their community makes it super relatable and super memorable.

Danielle Moss:

And last, if you have one and you might have to think hard about this, but put something in there that’s a memory point, a sticking point. Maybe you have a three-legged wonder dog. Maybe you won a hot dog-eating contest. Maybe you were Miss Whatever of your city. Something that is really unique that when people are off of your website, days down the road, and they’re still thinking about possibly selling their home, they’ll go, “Oh. Oh yeah, she was the one that XYZ, or he was the one with the cute dog.” Something that makes your name, your brand stick in their minds. It can be silly. It can be funny. It can be endearing. Whatever it is, just make that point memorable so that brand and website stays at the front of their mind.

Danielle Moss:

If you have any other tips or ideas or things that you’ve seen on other About pages that you want to share, drop it down in the comments below and, of course, ask any questions that you guys need. We are here to help.

Jason Moss:

What’s up everybody? Jason Moss here. Today, we have another Investor Carrot tip for you. And this is on how and why you should be adding credibility factors to your website. This would be things like a BBB logo, Facebook reviews, Google reviews, even different news sites or publications that you might’ve been listed on or mentioned in, like a Forbes article or a news site, like ABC, Fox, something like that. Those are all credibility factors that people can relate to. And they associate that trust and credibility with those sites, with your brand as well.

Jason Moss:

All right. So we’ll get into that in a second. But before we do that, remember, there’s two things do you need to do. If you do not have a Carrot website yet, please use our link in the description below. All right? If you use our link, send me the receipt afterwards and we’ll get you access to our bonuses.

Jason Moss:

Also, the other thing you should do is jump into our Facebook group. This is for Investor Carrot fans, anybody that has an Investor Carrot website. We have a Facebook group specifically for everybody. Okay. And if you watch videos one through four, you probably saw, because that was a couple of weeks ago that we had about 14, 15 members in there at the time when we just launched it. We’re now up to about 151 members. Okay? So it is growing every single day. We have a lot of great conversations going on in there. All right. So use that link in the description below, but let’s hop into the content.

Danielle Moss:

Let’s talk about building credibility on your website. That way, when a prospect does come to your site, they instantly trust you and your brand. There are three easy ways to do this. And I’m going to show you what they look like. First off, we call this a credibility bar. It shows different places that your company has been featured or featured in, where you’re highly rated, et cetera. So as you can see, these are big names that people instantly recognize: google BBB, Facebook, Time, Forbes, et cetera. Take those logos and have a credibility bar on your website.

Danielle Moss:

For Christopher Ellyn Homes, they actually have this front and center to instantly build that trust as soon as you land on at their site. Another great example is Covenant Home Buyers. Again, another credibility bar here. This one’s really clean, all white logos. But it’s names that a prospect will instantly recognize and trust and feel confident in potentially reaching out to you.

Danielle Moss:

The next way to build credibility is by featuring your reviews. We like to do this specific page for our clients. We call it a reviews page. The great thing about it is it pulls in reviews across multiple platforms. As you can see, all of the reviews here from Google and Facebook, Yelp, we’ve got some Trustpilot, everywhere that there is a review out for this client is pulled through to this page. So it’s easy for a prospect to find this page, read through and be overwhelmed by all the amazing reviews out there, and instantly gain trust, again, with you and your brand.

Danielle Moss:

The last way is to be transparent, to come through your website as a genuine person. Cory does a great job with that here on Covenant’s site. He shows a lot of pictures of themselves, has a funny little video and cartoon, pictures of his team, his office. It’s really easy to go to Cory’s site and then remember him even after you’re off the site. That highly increases your chance of doing business with someone. Once they build that trust, they see that you’re a real person and they remember your brand.

Danielle Moss:

If you guys want to know specifically either how to get featured in some of the publications that we show in the credibility bar, how to build a custom reviews page, or any tips on being more transparent throughout your site, let us know down in the comments and we’ll send you a specific training on that. But we highly encourage you to take these three steps: credibility bar, the reviews page, and a little transparency to your own website to build that online trust.

Jason Moss:

What’s up everybody. Jason Moss here. Today, we have another Investor Carrot tip for you for all my real estate investors out there. This is on how to install your chat widget and why you need one in the first place. Okay. But before we get into that, remember we have links in the description below. If you do not have a Carrot website, use the link in the description. That is our link. Send me the receipt after you’re done. And we’ll get you signed up for our bonuses free of charge.

Jason Moss:

Also, the link for the Facebook group is in there. Okay. This is for our investor carrot Facebook group. All right. Where we talk about everything on SEO, how tos, design functions, how to drop scripts, how to do just about everything. Okay. If you remember, if you saw one of our very first videos, videos one through four, we had about 15 members in there at the time when we launched. We’re now up to, it looks like 151 members in the Investor Carrot group. So get in there, join us. We have a lot of great conversations going on in there as we speak. But let’s get into the video on this chat widget.

Danielle Moss:

Investor Carrot fans. Let’s go ahead and install a chat widget on your website today. This is so easy and such an impactful tool for your business. Obviously, you know the benefits of having chat on a website. It makes you more connected to people. It makes it easier for prospects to reach out to you. So many people prefer a chat feature versus having to make a phone call because it allows them to stay in control of the situation from the comfort of their phone or home. And it’s just a more comfortable way for a prospect to reach out to you. We also live in a day and age of instant gratification. People don’t want to wait for a response on an email. They want to talk and they want information now. So let’s get that chat widget installed on your site. First of all, once you’re logged in, we’re going to be working on your settings tab.

Danielle Moss:

We’re going to be getting a code from the chat widget that you decide to use and putting it down in your footer scripts. So once we get that code, this is where we’re going to be going. Fun fact, the footer actually loads after your website. So by putting this code in your footer, it doesn’t cause any impact to your load speed. So you can keep your website loading fast, which we know Google loves for ranking. So when it comes to chat features, there are several out there. A couple that we personally have used and liked talk to is a great one. We also have used Olark, but for today’s purposes, we’re going to be using our own chat widget that we offer our clients with our CRM. But it doesn’t matter which one you’re using. You will eventually end up at a point like this, where you see the code on your page that you’re going to need to copy to paste into your footer.

Danielle Moss:

So just go ahead. Usually you can cheat and just hit copy code, or you can do a manual copy. Pop over to your footer section, go ahead and paste that code and hit safe. Guys, that is it. You now have chat live on your website, ready to go for prospects to get in touch with you. Talk about a huge tool and a quick way to start getting more prospects into your hands. Go add it to your website. You’ll see what it looks like. Let me show you. There you go. Chat right there. Ready to go. Drop a comment below. Let us know when you get this installed. So that way we can keep popping off some more tips for you guys.

Jason Moss:

What’s up, everybody? Jason Moss here. Today’s video is video number four of our Investor Carrot tip series. This is how to compress images and why it’s so important to do that in the first place, not upload giant images to your website to keep things running smooth and fast. Okay?

Jason Moss:

Once again, if you’ve watched video number one, two, and three, my wife, Danielle, is going to go over everything with you, walk you through all the how-tos, and why you should be doing it in the first place. Okay? But before we get into that, there’s two things you need to do. If you do not have an Investor Carrot website yet, see the description below, use our link. Once you sign up, send me the receipt for that and we will give you access to all of our bonuses that are included.

Jason Moss:

Second thing. Get into this Facebook group. The link is in the description as well. Join this group. This is for Investor Carrot users only. We go over a ton of different things, tips and tricks. All of these videos are in here as well. How to do different design things, drop chat widgets, use scripts, set up notifications. Everything you need to know with an Investor Carrot website. Like I said, there’s links in the description below, but let’s hop into the video.

Danielle Moss:

It’s fine. I’ll be the one to say it. Size does matter, Investor Carrot fans. As much as I want to make a that’s what she said joke, we’re going to stick to the actual topic at hand, and what we’re talking about are the images that are on your website, specifically the size of your images.

Danielle Moss:

See, the size of your images impact your page load time, how quickly your pages load on your website. Google doesn’t like it when your pages load really slow. The number one cause of slow load speeds, you got it, large images. Let’s talk a little bit about how this happens with Carrot, how you can test it, and then how you can correct the issue.

Danielle Moss:

First and foremost, if your Carrot website still has all the stock imagery on it, 99% chance you’re perfectly okay. They have made these templates already optimized as far as size for the images. Where you’ll want to check yourself is, if you’ve started uploading your own images, whether it be of homes or your headshots or pictures of your team or whatever it may be that you’ve added, or if you’ve added different stock images to be more relevant to your local market, that’s when things get a little bit tricky and you may or may not have compressed those images to make them a size that’s compatible with your site.

Danielle Moss:

There’s a website you can go to, and this is the one that we specifically like to use. It is Google’s PageSpeed Insights. We already went ahead and ran a test on this one. Nothing super big glaring at us. It ranked a great score. Again, we always want to check against Google because they are, for lack better terms, the ones in control here.

Danielle Moss:

To get a little bit more in depth on the breakdown or to understand where you may be having an issue with a specific image, we also like to go to this gtmetrics.com. You will pop in your address here, and then scroll down, and under this waterfall of images, you can see the size of every image that you have and how long it takes each one to load. Again, our website still has all the stock imagery on it from Carrot setup. We haven’t put any personal images or changed out any stock photos. But if there were anything in here that we’re going to say would be over, say, 500 kilobytes, you’d probably want to go ahead and take that image and compress it just to make sure that it’s not going to impact your page load speeds.

Danielle Moss:

If you need to compress an image, this is our favorite site to go to, and it’s actually the first one that comes up when you Google compressing an image, and that’s compresspng.com. The reason we like this one is because, whether you have a JPEG or a PNG, you can toggle back and forth and make changes here to the file that you’re wanting to upload.

Danielle Moss:

We put in a test image here, went ahead and uploaded it. It automatically did a compression on it. Then, if you come down here, you can compress it even further. It shows you what you’re compressing it down to. The original was 736 kilobytes. Now we got it down to less than 179. By simply dragging this slide, you can compress it more or less. You’ll notice a very fine change. You’ll eventually find a breaking point. See, if I go all the way down, it’ll distort it past the point of recognition. But we can get this one pretty low and it still looks great. This is a fabulous size, super small, and will work wonderfully on the website. You just go ahead and hit apply, and then you can download that compressed image and put it on your website.

Danielle Moss:

Again, this is one of those things that Google’s really particular on. They’re very big on user experience, and slow page load times hinder that user experience. Let me ask you the last time you waited more than a couple seconds for a website to load. Chances are you hopped off and went for a different result. Don’t let that be you.

Danielle Moss:

It’s so important to go ahead and refresh and update some of the content on your website. But in doing so, just make sure that you’re compressing those. One thing we noticed that happens a lot specifically are logos. If you have your logo created by a graphic designer, they tend to send very large files. Go ahead and compress that before uploading it to your site. The same thing with any type of professional photography or even your iPhone, guys. These phones take such incredible pictures nowadays that you really do need to compress them before uploading them to your site.

Danielle Moss:

Of course, if you have any questions, drop them in the comments below. Let us know what your page load speed was and if you ran into any crazy surprises when you were taking a look at that. We’ll see you in the comments.

Jason Moss:

What’s up, everybody? Jason Moss here. Today’s video, this is tip number three on our Investor Carrot Tip series. All right. And today’s video, we’re going to be going over how to change your stock content on the website and why that is so important. Don’t just launch an Investor Carrot Website and leave it completely bone stock with all their content. You need to change that up. My wife is going to go over everything with you, show you how to do different things and why it’s so important as well. But before we get into that, remember, there’s two things that you need to do, and the links are in the description below.

Jason Moss:

First off, if you don’t have an Investor Carrot Website, use our link in the description below. Sign up, send us the receipt, we’ll give you access to our bonuses and also get into our Facebook group. This is an Investor Carrot fans Facebook group specifically for everything Investor Carrot website stuff, tips and tricks, design tips, how to build certain things in the Gutenberg block editor, how to drop scripts, chat widgets, set up notifications, everything you need to know. And of course things like SEO, the really important stuff. All right. But yeah, get into the group, and enough of me talking. Let’s hop into the video.

Danielle Moss:

Hey Investor Carrot fans. Today, we’re going to kick it up a notch, and we’re going to do something that only probably 1% of you will actually take the time to do. It’s going to set you apart from your competition, and that’s eliminating some of the stock content and imagery on your website and making it more personal. Remember, people want to connect and do business with other people. They don’t want to connect with a business. So adding just a little bit of personalization to your Carrot site is going to go a long way when it comes to prospects landing on your page.

Danielle Moss:

Let’s talk about this bad example first. Here in St. Charles County, Missouri, where we’re located, you will never see a house that looks like this. This style is out of place, the architecture, the roof type. You will not see a single house here that looks like this. Instead, what we should do is go to Canva or another free stock image site and find a home or a picture of a community that looks more like our local market. That way, when a prospect comes to our page, it looks like we’re here in the local area. Whereas if they see this, maybe it feels like we’re out of the actual local community, and it feels removed.

Danielle Moss:

Then going down the homepage, you don’t see any images about us or anything that really makes it warm and fuzzy. By adding a personal image, maybe a quote or adding some personal content in this top paragraph, it’s immediately going to have more of a personal connection to your prospect. Those are two quick, easy changes to the homepage. Just replace that stock photo and add a personal image of yourself. That’ll quickly make this more warm and more relatable.

Danielle Moss:

The second thing I would focus on is our company page. This is a big one. This is where most prospects go to do a little bit of research on you. Whatever you do, make this about you, pictures of yourself, pictures of your family, pictures of your team, anything that you’re into, any charities that use the port, anything you do for your local community. Maybe you have a three-legged wonder dog named Hank that goes along with you to every home that you take a look at. Whatever it is, bring that personality into this about page. It doesn’t have to be strictly about business. It can be about you personally. Again, it allows that person to connect with you on a personal level versus that business level. It also increases the chances of them feeling more comfortable to reach out to you and have that interaction, human to human.

Danielle Moss:

Freshen up this page. Talk about yourself. Get rid of some of the generic content. We’ve got a great example for you guys. Check out Covenant Home Buyers. We’ve got Corey, Mark, and Travis, great little team photo up here. Little bit about them, who you’ll work with, and what their experience is. These are super easy changes that can take a matter of 15 to 20 minutes on your website that really go a long way again when prospects are looking and making a decision whether or not to reach out to you. Doesn’t have to be complicated. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Look at how simple and clean this page is, but how much more warm and personal it is versus something like this. Freshen up that stock content on your homepage, add a picture of you on your homepage, and then add a little personalization to your our company page, and you will stand out from that competition.

Jason Moss:

What’s up, everybody? Jason Moss here. Today’s video, this is for my real estate investors. This is video number two of our Investor Carrot T.ip series. Once again, my beautiful wife is going to go over everything with you today we’re going to show you how to change the favicon on your website, also known as your site icon. If you don’t know what that is, just keep on watching the video. Also, resources in the description below. If you don’t have an investor carrot website, sign up using our link. Send us the receipt, and we’ll give you access to our bonuses.

Jason Moss:

Also, if you already have an Investor Carrot website, get in our Facebook group. Get in it today, request. The link is in the description below, but send a request. We’ll get you in there. We go over everything. We have awesome conversations in here, how to do different tips and tricks, how to do designs, how to build certain things in the design elements. They use Gutenberg in there. How to play scripts on the website, set up your notifications with SMS, how to make a chat widget work, all types of different things, and of course, SEO for the Investor Carrot website. All right. Do those two things, and I’ll see you guys in the next video.

Danielle Moss:

Investor Carrot fans, today we’re going to add a little bit of pizazz to your online presence to help you stand out from the competition. We’re adding the favicon or site icon to your Carrot page. It’s super easy. It is great for standing out on mobile, and it also gives you a very clean, professional online presence. So from the dashboard, we are going to go over to design. Then we’re going to hop into branding. You probably already have your logo uploaded in here. If not, go ahead and make that change really quick, and then it’s super easy. You’re just going to click on the custom site icon, and you’re going to upload. Just so you know, you do want to keep it around 512 by 512, just on size. If it’s too big, it won’t work. If you need to resize your logo, go ahead and hop on over to resizeimage.net, or we also use simpleimageresizer.com. Both work really well, so go ahead and select that image, and hit publish.

Danielle Moss:

Then you’ll pop on over to your site. Of course, we want to show you what it looks like when it’s live, and there you have it. Right there, that favicon or site icon is now updated. Again, this is also great on mobile because as you’re scrolling through, that little icon does show up. Especially if you have competitors in your local market that also use a Carrot website, if you all stick with the same generic content, you will all have the same icon there. By changing your site icon, it’ll help you stand out against that competition. If you have any questions at all, drop them in the comments below. You know we’re always here to help.

We have a brand new fan group that we are running ourselves, and we’re going to go over everything, how to do SEO properly for Investor Carrot, how to set up scripts, how to do different types of design, how to make certain blocks with the editor, how to do everything with Investor Carrot, how to get it set up and ranking in your local market. So I’ll put the link in the description for that below as well. So two things for you, get your Investor Carrot website. Get in the Facebook group. If you already have all of that, just keep on watching and let my wife take it away.

Danielle Moss:
Investor Carrot fans, today we’re going over how to add your NAP, which is your name, address, phone number to the footer of your website. As you can see, we’re on our site right now, and there is nothing down here. I’m going to show you how quick and easy it is to get this done, and teach you a little bit of magic that helps with your SEO. First off, we’re going to jump into your Carrot site and go under settings. We’re going to be working in this field box right here. So the first thing that we need is your name, address, and phone number in HTML code. Don’t worry. You do not have to be a genius to figure this one out. Hop on over to an HTML editor. I like to use html-online.com/editor, and then go ahead and type in your NAP. As you can see right here, it will automatically populate the code, but this next little step is where the magic happens.

Danielle Moss:
We now want to take this and link it to your Google My Business. If you do not have your Google My Business set up, stop right now, drop a comment below. We will help you get that taken care of because this is what makes all this worthwhile. So if you do have your Google My Business claimed, what you’re going to do, go ahead and get this highlighted, and pop over to your Google My Business. You’re going to hit the share button and copy this little link here. Pop back over to your editor. That’s still highlighted. Click insert link. Go ahead and paste that link in there and make that text bold because Google likes it.

Danielle Moss:
You now have it linked to your Google My Business. So go ahead, come over here. I like to do a little control A, control C. You’re going to copy the code that’s in this box. Pop back over to your Carrot site. Go ahead and paste that, hit safe. Then go over to your site and refresh for just a couple seconds until it pops in down there. As you can see on the second refresh, we now have our NAP listed in our footer and it is linked to our Google My Business. You guys are all set. Again, if you don’t have your Google My Business claimed, drop a comment below. We want that squared away for you guys ASAP. Any questions, of course, drop them in the comments too. Thanks, guys.

What’s up, everybody? Jason Moss here, today’s video, I have another Investor Carrot tutorial video for you. And as you can see on the screen, we are building a landing page today. All right. And I’m going to show you exactly how to build this landing page here. So when you’re doing your PPC, Google, or Facebook ads, you can send your traffic to a landing page. You don’t have any other options for people to click and get off your landing page.

They really have two options. They either call you or they fill out your form so you get their information. So very, very simple. But let’s hop into the video and I’ll show you how to make this. So, as you can see, we’re on our demonstration site that we’ve been using in the last couple of videos and we’re on the dashboard page now. What we want to do is come over to content because this is content. This is going to be a page on your website.

OK, once this loads up, you’re going to see down here that we have landing pages right below pages. Now with pages, you can build a page and you can eliminate the header, you can eliminate the sidebar. And there’s even an option to eliminate the footer, but it doesn’t eliminate the footer completely. It still leaves a lot of it in there. And a lot of times I just want that all gone. OK, so if we click on their landing pages option here, they actually have some templates already in here for us.

OK, so we can go through here and we can look at these two. But let’s just add a new one, because I want to show you how this works. And you can see that they have eight different landing page templates here for us. OK, and you know, you can pick one every one you like. Obviously, you can change it and edit them, customize them. So let’s just enter a name here. Test landing page.

All right. And. I believe, yeah, they give us different options, you can click on the demo, you can view these, you can play around with them whatever you want to do. I’m a fan of simplicity. OK, the simpler, the better. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to click on this centered squeeze page. All right, I’m not even going to do the demo and we hit the Generate Landing Page down here, I’m going to build this out for you, something very easy, very nice and neat.

And once the page loads, you’ll see everything here for us, just our standard builder. If you see this this little alert here about converting to classic containers in this page only, go ahead and do that because you’re converting the classic into the visual blocks and that’s what we want to do. So it gets rid of that as well. Everything’s converted now, as you can see here. This is the title of the page that we may test landing page.

This will not actually be on your landing page. OK, now this is what is on your landing page at the moment. OK, and we can go ahead. We’ll hit a preview here. This will pop open a new window. I like to always have the preview open so you can kind of go back and forth, keep it in preview. If you have dual screens or just a big ultra wide, really make those come in handy for doing stuff like this where you need the multiple windows.

So as you can see, we have the title here or the call to action, whatever you want to call arrows. And then there’s no form here, no phone? No, we have some share buttons. So obviously we need to change this up. All right. So as we come here, the first thing I like to do is I like to get rid of these share icons. Like this is a landing page. No one is going to share this landing page, so let’s just get rid of them over here.

On the right hand side, we have the social buttons. So I’m just going to click on social sharing buttons and that is gone. OK, and over here we have the form. OK, so they have the built in form. This is a little bit different than when you’re building a page. They don’t have this option, so it’s a little different. But if we select the form, we’ll just select their. There’s standard form here. And then if we hit preview.

It’s going to regenerate this page here. Refresh it. And you’ll see there we go, we have everything is the same, but now the forms on that page. OK, so now it’s starting to look like a landing page. OK, but let’s change it up even more. All right. So what we can do, we can just click in here and we can edit this out first. Just type for demonstration purposes. Please opt in to my form.

All right. Obviously, you wouldn’t want to put that on a landing page, but we’re just having fun with it. With this image here, we can play around with it. We can make it smaller. We can keep these arrows if we want. We can take them away. That’s up to you. Now, if you go back to that preview page, you’ll notice that the title is here. And a lot of times these forms have a description on them as well.

OK, I did I was playing around with this last night and I noticed when you select the form using their form selector here, I guess you could call it, you don’t have the option to block that description or the title of the form. So I’m going to put this on none. All right, and I’m going to enter the form myself, because I’ll show you what happens when we use the blocks. OK, we’ll type in form. Because we want a form block, you’ll see it pops it in there.

Let’s just get that same exact one again. All right, and we see this title here, maybe we don’t want the title showing on the right hand side, we have form title form description and we can block those out. So it’s just the form itself. OK, so we got rid of that, which is awesome. And on my landing pages, I like to put some credibility factors. Now you can put whatever you want, you can put some testimonials, some reviews, you can put some icons.

You can do a lot of different things, obviously, that inless to your imagination. Right. What I like to do. Let’s do this real quick. Let’s. Let’s add we’re going to add. A column here, because I’m going to add three pictures. OK, so where is columns, there’s columns. OK, so we’ll add a column here. And you saw it put it up up above. No worries, we’ll fix that. We’ll do the three column if you come over here, if you click inside of it now, you don’t want to click like one of the columns, OK, but click like in between it.

So we’re selecting like the whole block. We’re going to hit this down arrow. And it’s going to move it below because it’s block by block by block, right, so you just move in it know you’re stacking these blocks. That’s how you got a view inside your head. OK, so we’ll click on this one. We’re going to add an image to it. We’re going to click on Media Library because I already uploaded these, so once this pops up, we come over here, we hit media library and we’ll add this one here.

The Google my business will select. You don’t really need to worry about any settings over here unless you want to do some extra stuff. We’ll click on this next one, we want to enter an image in there. We’re going to do the same thing, media library. We’ll do the BBB one here in the middle. And then last but not least. On the right hand side will hit media library one more time. We’ll do the Facebook. OK, so now a select now we have the Google, my business, BBB and Facebook right below it.

Now what you see on this screen is what’s going to show up on the preview. But it might be slightly different because, you know, we’re in an editor right now. It’s not live mode. So let’s just hit preview again and kind of refresh this and see how it looks. All right. And you can see here in the live, you these images are much bigger. Than what they appear over here, OK, which is perfectly fine.

I like this a lot. I like how this is bigger. This looks perfectly fine to me. So if we come back over to the Ed, one thing is you’re a company driving business to this landing page, right? So when someone lands on this, you kind of want to mirror back to them who the brand was. You want to remind them that this is the brand. Right. So I’m going to click. Let’s let’s do this.

We’re going to add a block down here. We’re going to do image, all right. Remember, we didn’t do a column here, so it’s not going in the column is just going to be a big image. And we’re going to go to media library. I’m going to grab a logo. Now, this isn’t the logo for this site, but I’m just grabbing a logo now. I’ve grabbed that logo. I do want to make it centered.

OK, so not centered, but I want it at the top. Now, remember, these are stacked by blocks, right? So we have this selected. We’re going to hit up arrow moves up one. Moves it up again. We’re going to do it again, and now we’re at the top. OK, now if we hit preview, you’ll notice that this is this is giant, it’s way too big, right? So come back over to edit and we’re going to just shrink this up a little bit.

So we just grab that. Very, very simple. Make that logo much, much smaller. OK, so when someone lands on this page, they see, yeah, this is this is exactly who was serving me the ad, you know, the Pepsi or the the Facebook ad. This I know I’m in the right place. I’m going to give my information to them. So if we hit preview again, let’s just see what it looks like.

All right. Perfect. It looks awesome. So we got the logo at the top. We have a little call to action here. Obviously, you’re going to want to change that up. Still have the arrows there. Made them a little smaller. We got the form and some credibility signals here. Let them know that we are five star review on GNB on Facebook. Baby looks looks awesome. Very, very, very simple landing page. So obviously you can you can do whatever you want with it.

You can put a picture of yourself on it. You can put a lot more information at the bottom, maybe a whole lot more testimonials, reviews, whatever you want to do. Really, if you do put a lot more content below something like this, you know, you can always put the form at the bottom as well. So you have that form on there twice. You can also add your business phone number to this. So that’s really up to you.

You can change the form and put it here inside of it, or we can just put it in the text so you could do something like call us at Phi Phi Phi Phi Phi Phi Phi Phi Phi Phi. Right now we want this obviously bigger. So let’s highlight this. And this is in paragraph. That’s why it’s smaller. So let’s make it a heading and we’ll make it an H2 because this top one is in each one now. We want it centered, right.

So we put it like that. So this is an H1 one, as you can see. This is an age two, so that’s why it’s a little bit smaller now, Ukko, people out there that understand what’s going on, you might be like, well, why would you want your age want to be that or to to be that? Well, look, this isn’t an age I won’t even recommend recommend having this being indexed, which it’s a whole nother thing.

We haven’t even talked about the seal on this page. You don’t really need to worry about the seal because this is a landing page. Now, I would change the title a little bit because some people are going to see the title so you can put something in there. OK, but you don’t really want this index, so you come over to visibility here at the bottom and just turn indexing to no index. All right. So that won’t mess up your SEO.

You know, this really isn’t going to. Rank and be out there any ways you don’t really want Larry pages ranking. OK, so that’s how you make a landing page in investor care? Very, very simple. If you guys have questions, let me know. I’m always happy to help, but I will see you guys in the next video. Thanks.
