WooRank
WooRank does a great job of providing insights about performing websites and their search engine rankings in an easy-to-read format.
It also provides me with helpful SEO tips and suggestions that I can easily implement. WooRank has been invaluable in helping me to optimize the content I create for SEO, giving it a much better chance of appearing higher on the search engine results page (SERP).

You can see things like the page’s title, meta description, and keyword density, which are all important factors for ranking high on search engines like Google.
There are a bunch of other useful features that you can access, like the number of internal and external links, Google PageRank, and Alexa rank. All of this can help you get a better understanding of a website’s SEO performance and identify areas for improvement.

Ninja Outreach
Ninja Outreach is definitely one of the more useful Chrome extensions I’ve had the pleasure of trying out. An excellent choice for anyone who is looking for extensions that help to find link-building opportunities.
It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that it has helped me tremendously by effectively cutting the time I need to find contact information by half.
Natalia Brzezinska, Marketing and Outreach Manager, PhotoAiD
Free Backlink Checker
This is my favorite Chrome extension, and I use it specifically to look for broken links on a particular page. There are many other extensions that improperly categorize links as broken, but which are not.
This one doesn’t give me any false negatives, and it does a great job of finding dead links that may not have a 404 error. My main use case for this Chrome extension is to find broken links I can use for putting together broken link campaigns.
If you’re looking for a tool to help with broken link building, this is the best that I’ve been able to find.
Aaron Anderson, Owner and Link Building Strategist, Linkpitch
UberSuggest
I’ve been using UberSuggest for ranking tracking and keyword research for years, but I just started using the Chrome plugin last year. I didn’t realize what I was missing out on!
This plugin shows me helpful data at a glance every time I do a Google search, such as domain authority, estimated visits, social media shares, related keywords, search volume, difficulty, cost per click, suggestions, questions, and so much more. This data matters a lot to me as a content agency owner.
This data allows me to help my clients develop their keyword and content strategies, and this really simplifies the process and minimizes guesswork.
It digs a little deeper than the standard Top 10 and shows just how popular each ranking is, which opens the door for me to create something even better for my clients.

Keyword Surfer
My favorite Chrome extension for SEO purposes is Keyword Surfer. Keyword Surfer offers incredible insights into any website’s competition and potential keyword targets. It gives me access to various metrics, from search volume to CPC data, without switching between different tools or websites.
Keyword Surfer updates its information in real-time, making it easier to track changes in the market quickly and accurately. It’s an excellent tool for SEO professionals who want to keep their finger on the pulse of their niche.
It has proved indispensable for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to up their SEO game.

MozBar
MozBar provides a wealth of information and tools related to search engine optimization right at my fingertips. It acts as an on-page SEO diagnostic tool, providing useful metrics such as Page Authority and Domain Authority.
This helps me assess SERP rankings so I can adjust accordingly. In addition, it gives detailed breakdowns of each page’s link profile, including the ability to export into CSV format. This tool has something else uncommon: a highlighting feature that allows me to find no-follow links while navigating around any web page.
This is a great way to identify low-quality or potentially suspicious links that might hinder our overall website ranking performance in search engines like Google and Bing without having to inspect every single link individually.

This is a must-have SEO Chrome extension for every website. It allows you to detect any broken links on your site quickly and then suggest alternatives or remove them altogether.
The tool also gives you the ability to check all external links and ensure they are working as desired. With this extension, you can easily monitor your backlinks and monitor any problems that may arise.

Keywords Everywhere also provides helpful insights into long-tail keywords and related phrases, enabling me to create more comprehensive content.

Ahrefs
Ahrefs Chrome extension streamlines most SEO tasks by sharing site metrics directly on the page. For outreach, this helps you quickly identify whether sites are spammy.
If you’re examining the content, you can quickly see how much traffic it gets and the number of keywords it ranks for.
You can even dive into the content metrics, pulling up word count, SEO title, meta descriptions, and image alt-tag data.
