Investor Carrot has done a ton of research and the “Our Company” / “About Us” page is one of the most visited on everyone’s sites. You MUST edit this and make it unique. Why though? Because motivated sellers want to “connect” and “relate” to other humans. Also, they simply want to know who they will be doing business with and who might be buying their house.

Jason Moss:
What’s up, everybody? Jason Moss here.
Jason Moss:
Today, we have another Investor Carrot Tip for you. This is on how and why you should be changing your About Us or your Our Company page as Carrot listed there on the website. All right? They’ve done some split testing on that, and it is one of the top three pages on everybody’s website that is visited the most, okay?
Jason Moss:
So it’s a very, very important page. People go to that. They want to know who they are going to be working with, who’s going to be answering the phone, who might be showing up at their house, who they’re ultimately going to be selling their house to. All right? So it’s very, very important to brand yourself and change that stuff, and we’re going to go over all that with you here in detail.
Jason Moss:
But before we do that, remember, there’s two things to do. First off, if you do not have an Investor Carrot website, see the link in the description below, okay? Click on it. Sign up for your Investor Carrot website. Once you do that, send me the receipt. All right? And we’ll get you access to our bonuses.
Jason Moss:
Also, you’re going to want to jump into our Facebook group. This is for anybody that has an Investor Carrot website, or maybe you’re on the fence and looking to get an Investor Carrot website. Hop in the group. You can see kind of the conversation that’s going on, all the different things that we talk about. Our group is growing fast every single day. So once again, that link is in the description. All right?
Jason Moss:
But let’s hop into the video and go over that About Us/Our Company page and how to change everything.
Danielle Moss:
We’ve talked about your About page a little bit before when we were talking about removing the stock content throughout your website. We kind of said to prioritize your homepage and your About.
Danielle Moss:
Today, I’ve got three ways for you to really personalize specifically that About page to make it more memorable for your prospects. First of all, add photos. I know we keep saying it, but you guys, in the day and age of the internet, there’s so much stuff out there that if you’re not being personable, you’re forgettable. So add the pictures.
Danielle Moss:
Here, Noah does a great job, kind of a candid shot out to dinner and then a little personal bio here talking about himself. That is memorable. That is relatable. That is going to make people feel comfortable to reach out to you.
Danielle Moss:
And again, we’ve shown Corey before. Corey does a great job of having a very cohesive-looking and warm, friendly About page. He’s got the team photo up here and then breaks them down individually with a little bio. Again, it just makes it that much more comfortable. You know if you’re reaching out, these are the people that you’re going to be dealing with.
Danielle Moss:
The next thing that we recommend is talking about your local community. What is it about the area that you’re in that you love, that makes you a subject matter expert, that makes you credible to make an offer on that home in that local area? Even talking about things like the local sports community, maybe a local school, a charity or organization that you’re involved with, anything that makes it feel like you are there with that person kind of in their community makes it super relatable and super memorable.
Danielle Moss:
And last, if you have one and you might have to think hard about this, but put something in there that’s a memory point, a sticking point. Maybe you have a three-legged wonder dog. Maybe you won a hot dog-eating contest. Maybe you were Miss Whatever of your city. Something that is really unique that when people are off of your website, days down the road, and they’re still thinking about possibly selling their home, they’ll go, “Oh. Oh yeah, she was the one that XYZ, or he was the one with the cute dog.” Something that makes your name, your brand stick in their minds. It can be silly. It can be funny. It can be endearing. Whatever it is, just make that point memorable so that brand and website stays at the front of their mind.
Danielle Moss:
If you have any other tips or ideas or things that you’ve seen on other About pages that you want to share, drop it down in the comments below and, of course, ask any questions that you guys need. We are here to help.
